A night with NYC’s Chief Technology Officer

January 15, 2015 in video by drron

Thanks to Noel Hildalgo for organizing this meetup and the Internet Society of New York for sponsoring the video. I was fortunate in being able to attend and to speak with our new CTO about the Internet of Things (IoT) and how we can apply new technology to meeting Mayor Bill de Blasio goals for reducing greenhouse gases in NYC.

Here’s the text posted with the video on YouTube:

BetaNYC #BetaTalk – A night with NYC’s Chief Technology Officer – @ Microsoft Civic NYC on Dec 17 2014.
For this BetaTalk, BetaNYC hosted Minerva Tantoco, New York City’s FIRST Chief Technology Officer. For her first community meeting, she was interviewed by Noel Hidalgo and talked about the future of civic technology and innovation.
